It is a National and Provincial Fire Code requirement that certain types of occupancies have in place an approved Fire Safety Plan.

Types of occupancies may include assembly halls, churches, schools, office buildings, manufacturing facilities and more. It is the requirement of the building owner to ensure that an approved Fire Plan is in place and continually updated to reflect any changes.
